Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library Endowment Fund

In November of 2013, an anonymous donor gave $50,000 to establish an endowment fund for the Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library. The donor's hopes are that the gift will not only secure the sustainability of the Library, but will also encourage others to consider a gift to this endowment fund.

The board members of the Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library are excited about the possibilities that this fund creates. The fund will have the ability to attract an assortment of gifts including cash, appreciated assets, life insurance policies, and bequests. "Until this point, we have done our own fundraising through book sales and our bookstore. This endowment fund at the community foundation is an opportunity to leave a legacy and give the community a chance to give to a fund that will perpetuate their passion and love for the Library."
